New From The Suits At Chrysler!
Chrysler is committed to safety therefore Chrysler will not recall and do everything possible to never recall over 50 million unsafe Gen3 seatbelts that can unlatch during an accident in 1993-2004 Chrysler Vehicle models even though several people have died directly in result and car seats have been thrown forward after the seatbelts unlatch. Yes, Chrysler executives were fully aware of this defect after seeing Crash Test Dummies being ejected during crash tests but we would like you to know that in a cost to benefit ratio the cost savings of 24 cents per safety belt to go to a safe Gen4 design just doesn't fit into Chrysler's budget.

Imagine A World Without Chrysler!
Current proposed CAFE standards threaten to hurt Chrysler and could further run Chrysler into the ground because of the environmental nuts out there that think more strict fuel economy standards should be set with a target goal of the year 2020. Chrysler believes is it necessary to have large 5.7L and 6.1L gas guzzling 340HP and 425HP HEMI engines in every day family vehicles regardless of MDS. Unfortunately, it would cost Chrysler money and business because Chrysler would no longer have the "biggest engine in a family automobile" if it drops the big 5.7L and 6.1L HEMI engines. Additionally Chrysler would have to actually design a more fuel efficient engine. Why should Chrysler have to pay for that kind of development? Why can't Chrysler do it at its own pace? Isn't MDS enough? For those who don't know about the great HEMI, it is an engine that swirls air to make it breathe better, one of the most innovative engine designs in the world. It also makes for great marketing hype. Since Chrysler invented the great HEMI, it should be excluded from CAFE.

Dealership owners say Chrysler pressured them to only do patchwork on warranty repairs and in some cases no repairs at all. Witnesses at one dealership saw valid warranty claims turned down by Chrysler representative. Chrysler representative states that Chrysler policy is to "assume the customer is guilty for causing a warrantable defect." Representative also shows dealership technicians shortcuts and patchwork he states may not be in the manuals.
Featured Blog Posts From The Anti-Suits Chrysler Lifetime Powertrain Warranty
Chrysler is known for declining to cover repairs under warranty while often blaming the consumer, even when regular maintenance can be proven.
For example, this is happening regularly with defective engines, especially Chrysler's 2.7L engine that has been known to sludge up due to narrow oil passages that cause the oil to cook inside the engine and internal coolant leaks that cause sludge. Chrysler is regularly blaming consumers for this, even when under Chrysler's 3 year / 36,000 mile warranty. Chrysler regularly declines to cover engines even when proof of regular, on or before schedule oil changes can be provided leaving many hardworking American families with bills up to $8,000 for replacement engines and labor. Chrysler is the only automaker we know of that refused to cover engines blown due to sludge when proof of oil changes at 3,000 mile intervals can even be provided so don't expect the lifetime powertrain warranty to cover this.
Furthermore other Chrysler engines suffer from excessive oil consumption while under Chrysler's 3 year / 36,000 mile warranty. The problem is so common that to avoid having to replace all of these defective engines, Chrysler issued a memo to all of its dealers claiming acceptable oil consumption for Chrysler engines is 1 quart per 1,000 miles driven, even under warranty so don't expect the lifetime powertrain warranty to cover this either.
Chrysler also avoids covering common transmission problems whenever possible by dealers stating rough shifting or slamming into gear, either "cannot be duplicated" or is "normal operation" to avoid having to replace defective Transmissions so don't expect this to be covered under the lifetime powertrain warranty. You asking yourself why a dealer would do this since they are reimbursed by the manufacturer. When Chrysler feels a dealer is "repairing too much" under warranty, they pressure dealers to cut warranty costs. Chrysler has a major influence on dealer attitude.
Consumers should also know that Dodge, Chrysler Dealership employees who are aware of known common problems wrongly blamed on consumers and Chrysler's service tactics are reluctant to tell the truth in fear of possible retaliation from dealership management such as losing their job, or action against the dealer by DaimlerChrysler. For example, after one dealer went public about racist practices up top in the company, DaimlerChrysler removed more than 400 cars from the Midlothian Dodge/Chrysler dealership for telling the truth, the dealership owner Gerald Gorman states. The dealership owner also states "They want to put me out of business because they want to send a message to any employee, to any dealer, that does business with them, that if you decide to be a whistle blower and come forward and tell the truth, we will ruin your life," said Gerald Gorman, Midlothian Dodge Dealership owner.
Lifetime Powertrain Warranty Details: Lifetime Powertrain Warranty is non transferable, Chrysler offers it assuming most vehicles are sold within 50K miles, requires regular dealer inspections, service must be performed by Dodge, Chrysler dealer, if you choose the "normal service" intervals Chrysler might void the warranty, if you had another place change the oil or changed it yourself Chrysler might not honor the warranty, if you are young and look like you ever stepped hard on the gas Chrysler can reserve the right to blame "you" the consumer. Chrysler policy is to assume the customer is guilty for causing a defect.

Featured Blog Posts From The Anti-Suits About The New Chrysler
When most car companies talk about a bright future, they're usually referring to next month's sales forecast. Chrysler likes to take a somewhat longer-term approach and explain why the next 1200 months of defects and quality issues due to excessive cost cutting, failing to cover valid warranty claims whenever possible and screwing over the next generation look so promising to Chrysler. I mean let's face it Chrysler will need new people to screw over. In short, it means that Chrysler is something of a rarity in today's automotive world: a company that's capable of ignoring to the needs of customers.
The fact is, we've always believed we were the most customer-focused car company on the planet although that's definitely not true more than ever due to the fact that you can find more internet complaints and websites against Chrysler than any other automobile manufacturer. Over the past six years, Chrysler has claimed have improved quality by more than 40%. * Quality might have actually been negative 40% before and is still being researched.
Chrysler cares about the environment where rather than working on smaller more efficient V8's and more powerful fuel efficient V6's, Chrysler just assume slap some MDS on some big HEMI engines. There are the 5.7L and 6.1L HEMI V8 engines Chrysler stuffs into family cars with hyped up benefits of MDS fuel-saving technology that will really only benefit consumers under certain driving conditions. Next, Chrysler will introduce the ever so pointless 5.7L HEMI V8 Hybrid Engine coming in 2009. Chrysler research shows that everybody needs a pointless gas guzzling HEMI Hybrid. Now, in another industry first, Chrysler is openly complaining and trying to discourage strict fuel economy standards by 2020 even though we have the HEMI with MDS.
